Casey and Dan have known each other since they were fourteen. They had different paths in college, went to different schools, and moving to different states. After 10 years of knowing each other, Casey and Dan reconnected on a weekend when Casey was visiting Chicago. Since then, Dan moved back to Michigan and they have been together for over 5 years. The rest is history!
Casey and Dan were walking their dog in Downtown Northville and while they were walking through Mill Race Village, Dan proposed to Casey in the gazebo. Their friends had flown in from out of town and were hiding in the bushes taking pictures, which was another great surprise of the day for Casey. After the proposal, they went to Dan’s parents house and both of their families were there to celebrate!
Shepherd’s Hollow was a dream wedding venue for Casey and Dan. When they got engaged, they immediately booked it as their wedding venue for November 18th 2024. Casey and Dan’s wedding day was filled with so many beautiful memories including the sweet letter to Casey from Dan, Casey’s tear filled first look with her father, Dan’s surprise jacket with photos of them both printed on the inside, and every moment in between.
